D&G District Rally

Saturday 2nd May: The Club competed at the Dumfries & Galloway District Rally at Cotland Farm, Tinwald. The day began with most of us nearly missing the bus we were sharing with Stranraer & Rhins YFC! The journey was made more eventful when the driver discovered he couldn’t get over the bridge to get onto the Tinwald road! We eventually got there and had a very enjoyable day. Chairman actually managed to assemble a half decent sheep trough this year too! Which was a bonus! Everyone who took part did Stewartry proud and we we came 5th overall. The Rally was followed by a Dance at Amisfield Hall, at which, Stewartry were definitely the life and soul of the party
